Learn to Swim

£22 /month

1 x 30 minute learn to swim session per week (Fri or Sun). Supported by qualified teachers/volunteers/young mentors. Low ratio of swimmers to teachers 

LTS+

£26/Month

1 x 30 minute learn to swim session per week (Fri) plus additional 1 hour Sunday session. Supported by qualified teachers/volunteers/young mentors. Low ratio of swimmers to teachers 

Competitive

£30/month

3 X 1 hour sessions including additional stroke development session (Fri night ). Access to free inter-town galas (dependent on successful selection). 

Elite

£38/month

2 x 1 hour sessions, 1 x 1.25 hour session and 1 x 1.5 hours session. Access to inter-town gala's (dependent on successful selection)

*** New members are required to pay a joining fee of £25  which pay their ASA fees for the first year

*** All regular members are required to pay an annual membership fee of £20, associate members £12, student and master members £50 (which includes the annual membership fee and ASA cat fee)

Other memberships 

Associate Member (Stockport Metro only) £12 per month - For swimmers who wish to represent the club but do not train at RMSC

Absent Student membership £50 per year - For existing members who leave to study and will only be swimming during holiday periods which also includes annual membership and ASA fees and insurance).

Masters membership - Pay an annual fee (£50) to cover annual membership, ASA fees and Insurance but who do not train at RMSC but can swim for RMSC in Masters Events and enter the annual gala.

Information about the ASA categories

All swimmers of competitive clubs have to be registered to be able to compete within a certain category.

 The Club pay the Cat 1 level fees for all swimmers but those that are Cat 2 are required to contribute the difference which is £16.80.

FAQ'S

1) Who sets the categories of swimmers an what are they?

2) What does the payment cover/purchase for the year?
It allows your child/children to take part in some galas.
3) Does this cover one calendar year or just to the end of the swimming year/season and it will be payable again in September?
It is payable each year at the beginning of the year.
4) Who needs to pay?
Category 2 membership is needed for those swimmers, over the age of 10 who want their child (or masters swimmer)to be eligible to take part in any open competitions and level 4 or 4 meets, such as Tadpoles and Mini Meets other that the friendly league galas.
