Child Safeguarding

Ensuring child safety is a key part of how our club operates. At RMSC we provide a safe, happy and fun environment where children can learn to swim and develop their skills.

The responsibility to safeguard children does not belong to any one person. Instead it belongs to everyone who plays a part in delivering our sporting activities.

Wavepower is Swim England’s Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedures manual to assist in safeguarding and protecting all children in aquatics. RMSC believes that all our members have the right to be safe and have fun whilst swimming and therefore safeguarding our members is an integral part of the Club and we aim to create a culture that provides a safe and happy environment which children can learn to swim and develop to a level appropriate for their ability.
